You will learn to recognise signs and symptoms of mental health concerns and respond effectively, providing crucial support until professional help is available.

This course is intended to provide participants with the following general education outcomes:

• Empowering participants with the knowledge and skills to understand concepts of mental health and recognise the physical, behavioural and psychological signs indicating a change in mental wellness
• Address immediate safety concerns
• Know how to respond to an emerging crisis to keep a person safe and where to seek immediate help
